While watching a drone buzz through the sky might still be an impressive act to watch, I don’t think any of us could be as excited to see a drone fly as these schoolchildren from rural Uganda.

Shot by Mark Brandon Smith, a gentleman who was working in northwestern Uganda with non-profit IMOutreach.org, the one minute video shows just how exciting – and terrifying – watching a drone fly for the first time can be.

As for how this moment came to be, Smith shared:

The headmaster of a school there asked me to give the kids a show with the drone. I launched the DJI Phantom 3 Professional and flew a short flight. The students loved it and kept asking for more once the drone landed […] I quickly became a village celebrity; the locals would even make buzzing drone-like noises whenever walking past me on the streets!
