This Timelapse Shows How A Gigantic 787-9 Dreamliner Airplane Is Built in 3 Minutes

Riddle me this? How to the transport an airplane for assembly? It turns out that inside another airplane. Jokes aside, looking at how a 787-9 Dreamliner is built can not leave you indifferent. This $264.6 million behemoth from Boeing is 63 meters long and has a wingspan of about 60 meters, so watching the unit being built from Lego like blocks is quite impressive.

That phase of construction that is time-lapsed is the part where putting pre-made assemblies together happens. This makes about 1000 people busy for a while.

The time lapse not only shows how the body is assembled but takes in inside the plane, under the wings and very close to the engines.
