‘Photographers have the power to capture human moments.’

This is the opening line of the inspiring new short film created by Cooperative of Photography, affectionately known to as COOPH. As cliche as it may sound, the truth couldn’t ring more clearly.

A single image can stop the world in its tracks and, at least for a moment, put the viewer in the shoes of the photographer or subject.

This powerful 6-minute video shares some of history’s most iconic images, from a candid portrait of Einstein sticking out his tongue to a defiant image of a Soviet POW staring down Nazi leader Heinrich Himmler during a prison camp inspection.

It’s said that a photo is worth a thousand words, but the reality is that photographs are can oftentimes go beyond words and convey emotions in all kinds of ways. Press play and get inspired.
