I know this is not what you expect to hear in a bar. Consider this though: darkrooms are being less common, there is a renaissance for film and everyone loves beer. So why not combine a darkroom with a bar.
And this is just what The Darkroom is aiming at doing. According to the Borderrstan, the bar, located in 207 Florida Ave, Washington DC, submitted an application that states that the business

Being designated as a National Special Security Event by the Department of Homeland Security, visitors to events and activities planned for Pope Francis’ visit to the capital will have to comply with a lengthy list of security and transportation restrictions, including a ban on the beloved and behated selfie stick.
So, how long before jokes begin about how selfie sticks were created by the devil and anyone using them will go to hell?
Anyone who even remotely follows photography related news will know how difficult and trying it has been to get the FAA to establish new guidelines on the flying of drones. The current rules allow individuals to fly the unmanned aircraft for recreational purposes; however, there are very strict regulations in place for those wishing to use the aircraft for commercial purposes. To some, this seems slightly backwards, mostly in part because the public often has the tendency to do stupid things. Things that a trained, professional drone operator most likely wouldn’t do. Like attempt flying a Phantom over the front lawn of the White House.
