Have you ever wondered what it’s like to shoot stills behind the scenes for movies and TV shows? Well, the streaming giant, Netflix, has opened up applications to join its first-ever Unit Photography Bootcamp. It’s a three-day course on unit stills photography, running in July. The bad news, however, is that it’s only open to photographers in Australia, and only ten places are available.
The course, Netflix says, is designed to develop skills, network with others in the industry and obtain insights into what’s required as an on-set photographer. The course is led by unit stills veteran John Platt, with practical experiences and the opportunity to meet Netflix department heads from Australia and the US.
