Online dating is part of modern life for many people looking for that someone special. It’s a minefield, especially when you consider that your entire success can boil down to a single photograph that gets looked at for approximately half a second if that.

Choosing those photos that best represent how lovable yet adventurous yet give insights into that quirky knitted-underpants-obsession you have is no easy task. But don’t worry, Tinder is testing out a new approach that uses AI to help with your photo selection to help you find your next ‘Boo’.

They say a photo speaks more than a thousand words. And when it comes to first impressions in online dating, there isn’t much room for words. So, your photos will speak for you. Folks at Skylum conducted an interesting survey to find out more about the importance of photos in online dating. The results give us more information and an interesting insight into how photos affect your decision to swipe left or right.

FStop, it’s basically Tinder for photographers and models

Many photographers and models tend to go to sites like Model Mayhem when looking for new people with which to collaborate, but such sites were built before the days where the majority weren’t browsing from mobile devices.

Most sites were slow to make the shift, but I’ve yet to come across any that are 100% mobile friendly (at least on iOS). Now, a new competitor, FStop.fm, enters the field aiming to put models and photographers together through a Tinder-like interface.
