Tamron releases new ultra-wide and tele-zoom lenses

Tamron has introduced two new lenses: tele-zoom SP 70-200mm f/2.8 and ultra-wide 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5. They feature improved optical performance and some new features to make image quality even better. These lenses are versatile, affordable, and definitely competing with Nikon and Canon in terms their prices.

Sigma Gearing to Aim at Tamron With New Massive Telephoto Lens

It’s that time of the year again, and with Photokina back in session comes the inevitable new gear announcements, as well as the rumors leading up to them. This time, the rumors are about a new and upcoming telephoto lens from Sigma. Made for their Sports line, the 150-600mm F/5.6-6.3 lens seems to be a direct competitor to Tamron’s own recently released 150-600mm model.

Nikon’s Big Week for Announcements: Two Mirrorless Cameras and One Big Lens

Nikon’s been getting pretty busy this week with their announcements. Two new mirrorless cameras are now headed our way, along with a new telephoto lens. And unless you plan on opening a meth lab and making bank off your experience in chemistry, you might want to just stop reading when you reach the last mirrorless camera; the telephoto lens costs quite a bit. We’ll over the basics of what to expect from each after the break.

He is based in Scotland and has been an early adopter - and occasional beta tester - of almost every digital imaging technology in that time. As well as his creative visual work, John uses 3D printing, electronics and programming to create his own photography and filmmaking tools and consults for a number of brands across the industry.

Dunja Djudjic: from diyphotography.netDunja Djudjic is a multi-talented artist based in Novi Sad, Serbia. With 15 years of experience as a photographer, she specializes in capturing the beauty of nature, travel, and fine art.
