Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson smashed into her at full speed, and a video of him helping her out and hugging her after the incident quickly went viral.

But when he got busted, he publicly apologized and set an example of how one is supposed to act when it happens.

Female Iranian photographer banned from stadium, climbs a rooftop to photograph a soccer game
In Iran, women are banned from attending soccer games. But a 26-year-old photographer Parisa Pourtaherian didn’t let it stop her. During a match in Vatani stadium in Ghaemshahr, she climbed a nearby rooftop and photographed the game with a telephoto lens. And by doing this, she became the first woman Iran to cover a national league game.
To photographers: We are better than that
It was a classic NCAA Championship game. Perennial powerhouse Alabama comes back to tie the game in regulation and then win it in overtime. The game winning play was a 2nd down, 41- yard heave-ho into the end zone that broke a lot of Georgia fan’s hearts. It was a play that will be etched in their collective memories for a long time. And one image, a screen grab of that play, will also be etched in the memories of a few people…for a totally different reason.

I have noticed a growing demand for fitness photography recently – which I am taking as confirmation of a fun new rising photography trend: fitness portraits.
(Other recent photography trends include: Anne Geddes babies, black and white baby parts, smash the cake, trash the dress, pet portraits, maternity boudoir, boudoir boudoir, seniors, crazy wedding composites…and so on…)
In the past, a lot of my fitness work involved aspiring models or fitness instructors. However, most of the requests that are coming in now involve everyday people who just want some killer images to post on social media (which I personally think is awesome).
I’m sure some will complain about selfie culture, body obsession or whatever – but as a photographer I’m seeing a fantastic opportunity to earn some easy money. [Read More…]
