Splash Heroes “Villains Edition” is the most epic 2020 calendar you’ll ever see

I’ve been following Aurum Light’s “milk dress” photography for a few years now. It’s an amazing technique that’s been imitated a bunch, but nobody else really seems to make it stand out in the way photographer Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz and his team do. And he’s able to do it consistently, too, regularly pumping out new work and it always has that same impact.

This time, though, I think he’s really outdone himself, with the “Villains Edition” of his Splash Heroes calendar for 2020.

Naked Models and Milk Become Star Wars Heroes (NSFW)

It seems like everything these days is either Star Wars or inspired by Star Wars. However, unlike many photos I’m seeing lately, this set is kickass in its own right.

The concept itself isn’t new, but Barcelona-based photographer Manu Cabañero hit the nail on the head with his milk-splashed characters of Princess Leia, Like Skywalker and Darth Vader. And there’s more to come…

Photographer Creates Superhero Portraits by Splashing Milk on Naked Models (NSFW)

Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz made quite a splash with his Milky Pin-Ups, and following that success he decided to create another series called Splash Heroes.

Using the same techniques of high-speed photography and expertly splashed milk, Jaroslav created an outstanding series of photos which he used to make a calendar (sold out in days).

Jaroslav was kind enough to share a lot of information regarding this project, including his gear, lighting setup, work process and plenty of behind-the-scenes footage.
