Before 2020, remote portraiture was still an experiment few people played with. But when the pandemic hit, taking photos remotely became a thing. While it’s much more common nowadays, remote portrait projects can still surprise and awe us.

This is exactly what photographer Tim Dunk did with his latest project. Based in the UK, he took photos of people in all 50 US states in one day. Tim told us a bit about the project and we bring you the story behind it, as well as the wonderful portraits he took.

The coronavirus pandemic has turned our world upside down. But other than all the bad things it has brought upon us, there are some good ones too. One of them is new photography genres, and we’ll surely remember 2020 and 2021 for remote photoshoots and gaming photography. So, it’s no wonder that someone came up with an idea to create an app that lets you shoot from the comfort of your home.
