Cannabis website sued for using copyrighted photos of rap stars

A Photographer is suing prominent cannabis website Leafly for unlawful use of his photographs of iconic rappers Snoop Dog and Tupac. According to sources, the lawsuit alleges that Leafly unlawfully published and displayed Monroe’s photography without his consent.

The heart of the dispute lies in an article about blunts, hollowed-out cigars filled with marijuana, according to Green Market Report. At the centre of the post was a side-by-side portrait featuring iconic rappers Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg. The caption accompanying the image suggested that Tupac taught Snoop the art of crafting blunts, which, in turn, led the rapper to smoke ten a day.

There are some celebrities who think that photos of them belong to them and that they can use them however they want. As you know, this isn’t the case. So, many celebrities also got sued by photographers after posting their photos without permission.

Rapper Nas has recently joined the club after a photographer sued him for sharing his photo. And it got his colleague Snoop Dogg so mad that he posted a video claiming that *beeeep* photographers shouldn’t own their own photos.

Some musicians are known to be… Well, not really fond of cameras, at least not at their concerts. But UK rapper Dizzee Rascal (Dylan Kwabena Mills) has raised it on a whole new level.

Mills was recently filmed as he knocked a camera out photographer’s hands. As if it wasn’t enough, he picked it up and hurled it across the street as fiercely as he could.

Rapper ‘Presto Flo’ Falls Into Harbor During A Photoshoot

We’ve all seen A LOT of fail videos all over the web because it’s almost impossible to not see them and while they’re all entertaining to an extent, I haven’t quite seen any video that’s as hilarious as this one:

The person in this video supposedly is “Presto Flo”, a rapper from Florida who was shooting “Promotional Images” that day. Let’s just say I’ve seen shoots that went better than his… A small gust of wind and…. Better the ocean than a 100 meter dive down a cliff. According to the video description on YouTube he landed on an oyster bed and had to be taken to the emergency room.

We’re ending this with a PSA: watch whats on your back when you have your pictures taken
