The White House has released the official portraits of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. An interesting thing is that they were taken on a Sony A9 II, unlike portraits of two former presidents that were shot on Canon cameras. Also, these are the first Presidential portraits to be shot on a mirrorless camera.
The interim president of Kazakhstan Qasym-Zhomart Toqaev has been in the center of a recent Photoshop fail. The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, has reportedly fired his personal photographer for the weirdest of reasons. According to a couple of sources, the photographer was taking photos of Kim Jong-un when he blocked the crowd’s view of him. With a flash. For three seconds. As a result, he was reportedly kicked off of his job, as well as from Workers’ Party of Korea.

You’d think that a guy with a thing about the size of his tiny hands and a tough-guy caricature to maintain wouldn’t want to look like a helpless tiny Benjamin Button…yet this is the photo he (or his best people) liked enough to post as his Twitter banner.
OK – I know American politics are a little nutty – so as a community of photographers, lets just take a moment to analyse why Trump looks so funny in this photo, and how you can avoid it.
