Will Sutton Used a Selfie Stick to Create an Awesome 4K Video of His Crazy Parkour Skills

Will Sutton, well known for his wicked parkour skills, is quite possibly the only person capable of making selfie sticks cool.

Using a GoPro and a selfie stick, the London-based professional free runner, created this action-filled point-of-view “selfie” video while showing off what he can do.

Have a seat before watching this; Sutton’s incredible talent could make you dizzy.

YI Action Cam Launches US Edition Exclusively On Amazon

In a move that will no doubt make a lot of peoples’ holiday shopping a lot easier, YI has just announced its action camera is now available in a ‘limited release version exclusively for the United States’.

The YI action cam will be sold via Amazon Exclusives, so don’t expect to find it anywhere else in the US.

The demand for the YI camera has been high ever since it was announced back in March, and while many who have been anticipating it will be thrilled it’s finally available in the US, the price is not as lucrative as it was for the Chinese launch.

National Geographic shows what it looks like to be eaten by vultures

The huge popularity of action cameras has resulted in endless point-of-view videos, used anywhere from sharing with friends on social media to high-end commercial productions, with varying levels of awesomeness.

While many of these videos are nothing to write home about, and the POV-style video is getting a bit old, the people over at National Geographic hit the nail on the head with this one.

Featuring a great subject, location, concept and cause, this video shows what it looks like to be eaten by vultures in Tanzania’s Serengeti.

Reclaim Australia Protests Shown From A “War Photographer” Perpespective

Sydney based street photographer, Dillon Mak, spent some time over the weekend documenting the Reclaim Australia protests and, wanting to create something in addition to the still images, the photographer also recorded video of the action. What sets Mak’s protest videos apart from all the others is the way he managed to capture it–by mounting a GoPro Hero 4 on top of his Canon 7D, Mak was able to record video with the GoPro while simultaneously shooting stills with the Canon.[Read More…]
