During the holiday season, we think a lot about what we’re going to give to our family and friends. We buy and make gifts, wrap them up, write the cards, and anxiously wait to give them to the ones we love. But what about us? Do we love ourselves, too?

As a photographer, chances are you’ll get some photography-related Christmas gifts from your friends and family. Among them, there will be those that will make you smile on the outside but think “what the hell am I supposed to with this?!” on the inside.

Inspired by articles that pop up every year about what (not) to buy to photographers, I’ve decided to write something slightly different. I’ve gathered seven photography-related presents I’ve received over the years. Some of them are awesome, but the others are cheesy as hell.
