Nanlite has also today announced the new Nanlite PavoTube II 15C and 30C RGBWW LED tube lights. These replace the original PavoTube 15C and 30C and add to the PavoTube II 15X and 30X RGB LED tube lights announced way back in October of 2021. What’s the difference between X and C? Well, we’ll get into that a little further down below, but the two new PavoTube II lights offer some nice improvements over the originals.

The new PavoTube II 15C and 30C offer white balance adjustment from 2500-7500K with green/magenta adjustment as well as full RGB control, AC and DC power, onboard controls, smartphone app control and wired DMX. The new second-generation lights also offer improved internal diffusion to create a more seamless look on-camera and provide a smoother, cleaner light when lighting subjects from out-of-frame.

It’s been three years since Nanlite initially introduced their PavoTube LED tube lights. Today, they’ve announced their new second-generation PavoTube II X series tube lights, designed for cinematographers, photographers, gaffers and other creative professionals that depend on high-quality tube lights.

They’re sticking with their classic 2-foot and 4-foot designs we’ve all come to know and love, but the new PavoTube II X also comes with a whopping 8-foot length, allowing for broader light coverage and more creative options on set.

Nanlite has announced its newest addition to the PavoTube family; The PavoTube II 6C. It’s a rather modest 25cm long T12 (3.8cm) diameter RGBWW tube light weighing in at only 260g. Behind that modesty, though, is a pretty impressive set of features.

The PavoTube II 6C boasts a CRI of 95 and TLCI of 97, with a variable colour temperature from 2700-7500K and green and magenta adjustments in CCT mode. In HSL mode, you get access to 36,000 possible colours from across the RGB spectrum. The LEDs sit behind a diffusion cover to help create a soft even glow and smoother edged shadows.
