Flat Earthers’ favorite camera, Nikon Coolpix P900, is now discontinued

Nikon Coolpix P900 is a pretty powerful little camera in terms of optical zoom. You can use it to zoom in the Moon, or “prove” that the Earth is flat. However, it has now officially been listed as discontinued and soon you won’t be able to order it anymore.

Nikon sued for patent infringement in Coolpix P900 and A1000

Digimedia Tech LLC has recently filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Nikon. The company alleges that Nikon has appropriated three of its patents, which have been implemented in Coolpix P900 and A1000.

See the Nikon COOLPIX P900’s 86x Zoom Lens Take On the Moon

When the Nikon COOLPIX P900 was released earlier this year, it brought with is a number of convenient and exciting features, including built-in WiFi, GPS…and a lens the equivalent of 24-2000mm.  No, that is not a typo.  The 83x optical zoom lens can really reach out and touch.

YouTube user Naturbeobachtungen von Lothar Lenz decided to put the lens to the test and shoot for the moon. Literally.  (Kinda.)
