This bare bones GoPro and drone video is a journey through dinosaur skeletons

When you film even the most ordinary stuff with a drone, it gives them a completely new perspective. And sometimes, we see drone footage that combines this new perspective with both unusual subjects and a whole new level of skill. The latest work by filmmaker Robert McIntosh is exactly like that! Using one of his custom-made tiny drones, Robert takes you through dinosaur skeletons in this mesmerizing video from a Natural History Museum of Utah.

Facebook bans user for posting photo of 30,000-year-old statue of naked woman

As if Facebook’s photo rules and regulations didn’t seem stupid enough already. Now, according to Business Insider, they’re banning people for posting photographs of 30,000-year-old statues that have appeared in history books for decades. The Venus of Willendorf is an 11.1cm (4.4″) all figurine estimated to have been made sometime between 28,000 and 25,000 BCE.

It currently resides in the Natural History Museum in Vienna. In December a photograph was posted by Italian arts activist, Laura Ghianda to Facebook. It was censored and Ghianda was banned from posting the photograph again. BI reports that Facebook says the image violated the company’s policies on nudity.

2016 Wildlife Photographer of the Year: shortlist announced for People’s Choice Award

Nature and wildlife lovers from all corners of the globe can now vote in one of the most prestigious photo contest in the world – Wildlife Photographer of the Year. The Natural History Museum published a shortlist of 25 photos for 2016 Wildlife Photographer of the Year. And it sure was a difficult task – they had to choose from almost 50,000 photos from 95 countries.

The photos they chose cover different styles. You can see breathtaking moments from everyday life of wild animals, or their captivating portraits. There are also surreal and abstract details of flora and fauna. The jury had a difficult task of choosing 25 photos, and you may also find it difficult to choose only one to vote for.

Alex Baker is a portrait and lifestyle driven photographer based in Valencia, Spain. She works on a range of projects from commercial to fine art and has had work featured in publications such as The Daily Mail, Conde Nast Traveller and El Mundo, and has exhibited work across Europe

Dave Williams is an accomplished travel photographer, writer, and best-selling author from the UK. He is also a photography educator and published Aurora expert. Dave has traveled extensively in recent years, capturing stunning images from around the world in a modified van. His work has been featured in various publications and he has worked with notable brands such as Skoda, EE, Boeing, Huawei, Microsoft, BMW, Conde Nast, Electronic Arts, Discovery, BBC, The Guardian, ESPN, NBC, and many others.

John Aldred is a photographer with over 20 years of experience in the portrait and commercial worlds. He is based in Scotland and has been an early adopter - and occasional beta tester - of almost every digital imaging technology in that time. As well as his creative visual work, John uses 3D printing, electronics and programming to create his own photography and filmmaking tools and consults for a number of brands across the industry.

Dunja Djudjic is a multi-talented artist based in Novi Sad, Serbia. With 15 years of experience as a photographer, she specializes in capturing the beauty of nature, travel, and fine art. In addition to her photography, Dunja also expresses her creativity through writing, embroidery, and jewelry making.
