Yes, Khloe Kardashian really did bring her own lights for her drivers license photo

For most of us, getting our photo taken for things like a drivers license or passport is something we dread. We know the photos are going to look bad. It’s just the way they are. The lighting is flat, bland, boring, horrible, and definitely doesn’t show us at our best.

When “reality star” Khloe Kardashian had to get her new drivers license, though, she didn’t want that. Oh, no. So, she took Keeping up with the Kardashians lighting director Landon Hosto along with her to get that perfect shot. I know this family’s supposed to be a bit over the top, but even this is pretty ridiculous.

Should the Media Use Official Portraits When Reporting Misconduct?

Two police officers in Georgia were fired after videos showing them brutally beating a motorist spread like a wildfire on social media. A criminal investigation has been initiated over their conduct, and photos of the two officers have emerged in the media.

The official police portraits from the Gwinnett County Police paint a radically different personae than the actions of Sgt. Michael Bongiovanni and Officer Robert McDonald caught on video. The smiling faces of civil servants in uniform posing in front of the American flag create a cognitive dissonance in light of the assault.

Australian Fugitive Asks Police to Replace ‘Horrible Mugshot’; Gets Invited to Have a New Photo Taken

Victoria Police asked their 290,000 Facebook fans to help them locate a person named Daniel Damon, who is wanted for traffic and drug matters. The warrant was issued after Damon failed to answer bail and the police had hoped social media users would come to the rescue.

Among the many responses was one they weren’t expecting; Damon himself had responded and asked that another photo of him be used. “Can you use a better photo tho. This is a horrible mugshot”, his commented.

Proving they have a sense of humor, and perhaps hoping Damon’s running low on brain cells, Victoria Police asked him to check in for a new photo.
