Mitakon has announced two new lenses. Well, technically, they’ve announced two new G-mount versions of existing lenses. One is the Mitakon Creator 28mm f/5.6 (buy here), and the other is the Mitakon Creator 135mm f/2.5 (buy here). The new additions bring the Mitakon G-mount lens lineup up to three, alongside the existing Mitakon Zhongyi Speedmaster 65mm f/1.4 (buy here).

The crop factor of the Fujifilm GFX system is 0.79. This gives the 28mm lens a field of view equivalent to a very wide 22mm. The 135mm still remains telephoto but drops down a bit to provide a field of view equivalent to about that of a 105mm lens on full-frame.

ZY Optics has announced Mitakon Creator 135mm f/2.5, an affordable telephoto prime lens. It’s a new, improved, and a little faster version of Creator 135mm f/2.8, only this one was made in five different mounts, including both DSLR and mirrorless. And with the price tag of $299, it’s still fairly affordable just like the f/2.8 version.
