Leica teams up with Hodinkee, launches limited-edition Q2 “Ghost” inspired by dive watches

Leica is known for its prestigious and pricey cameras. But they also love launching limited-edition, redesigned cameras and lenses. The latest to get this transformation is Leica Q2, and the company teamed up with watch experts from Hodinkee for this one.

The Leica Leica “Ghost” is the Q2 you already know but in a new, sleek suit. And unlike some other limited-edition Leicas, this one keeps almost the same price as the regular version.

Leica Q2 Monochrom gets a “Reporter” look and wants photojournalists to get it

Leica has released another of its cameras in the olive-green “Reporter” suit. This time, you can get the Q2 Monochrom in this special “outfit,” and it’s not even a lot more expensive than the basic version.

To remind you, Leica already has the M10-P and the regular Q2 in this version. But it’s a pleasant surprise that the Q2 Monochrom doesn’t cost $300 or even $1,000 more than the basic version, like the Q2 and the M10-P respectively.

Leica launches Q2 Reporter Edition, a “photojournalist version” of Leica Q2

Leica has just announced a new version of an existing camera: the Q2 Reporter Edition. Similar to the M10-P Reporter, it was also designed with photojournalists in mind. It’s sleek, pretty and discreet, and it won’t even cost you much more than the regular Q2.

Leica’s new Q2 comes with a 47.3-megapixel CMOS sensor that shoots 4K DCI video

Leica has today officially unveiled the new Leica Q2 mirrorless camera, offering a rather impressive 47.3-megapixel CMOS sensor, with 10 frames per second shooting up to ISO50,000 and 4K DCI 24fps video. It features a Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens, and with fully weather-sealed construction.
