Leica Q2 Monochrom gets a “Reporter” look and wants photojournalists to get it

Leica has released another of its cameras in the olive-green “Reporter” suit. This time, you can get the Q2 Monochrom in this special “outfit,” and it’s not even a lot more expensive than the basic version.

To remind you, Leica already has the M10-P and the regular Q2 in this version. But it’s a pleasant surprise that the Q2 Monochrom doesn’t cost $300 or even $1,000 more than the basic version, like the Q2 and the M10-P respectively.

New “Stealth Edition” Leica glows in the dark and it will set you back $15,750

Leica has announced a new version of their Monochrom (Type 246) camera. Perhaps inspired by a famous Rollingstones’ song, this limited edition camera is painted almost entirely in black. The only white details are the markings, and they glow green in the dark. The overall look of the camera is absolutely beautiful, but there’s only one flaw: it costs $15,750, twice as much as the “regular” Leica M Monochrom.
