Specs and photos leak before official announcement of TTArtisan’s first autofocus lens – 32mm f/2.8

TTArtisan is reported to be announcing a new lens today. What makes it special – at least to TTArtisan and their fans – is the fact that it’s the company’s first autofocus lens. Designed for mirrorless cameras, the new lens has a 32mm focal length and a maximum aperture of f/2.8. Which mount versions will be released at launch, however, appears to be in dispute.

Asobinet reports that the full-frame TTArtisan AF 32mm F2.8 Z is coming to Nikon Z mount, showing it in a promo photo attached to a Nikon Z fc. But other leaked images are showing it attached to a Fujifilm X-S10, a Sony A7 III and a Canon EOS M50. It looks like some mounts might not be announced today, though.

Complete leaked specs and video of the Panasonic GH6 show 7.5 stops IBIS, 300fps and ProRes video

Well, it seems a lot of info about the Panasonic GH6 was leaked overnight – and that Digicame-Info appears to be the new Nokishita. We went from a handful of new specs to the (almost) entire specs sheet being posted online and yesterday’s photos leak has turned into a full video from an Asian YouTuber who jumped the gun a little early, complete with English translation commentary.

From watching the video and reading the specs sheet, it looks like there’s good news and bad. For a start, it’s heavy, weighing in at 823g with battery and SD card and there’s no phase-detection AF. But, it offers ProRes recording internally and the 25-megapixel sensor is capable of seeing up to 300 frames per second.

The complete specs for OM Digital’s new camera have leaked ahead of next week’s announcement

Despite the distinct lack of Nokishita in the rumour mill these days, it seems leaks are still coming through just fine. This time, it’s the new OM System camera (which many seem to be calling the “OM-1”) specs that have leaked in their entirety almost a week ahead of the official announcement on February 15th. And thanks to 43Rumors the complete PDF of the camera’s specs have been hosted online.

Assuming the leak is accurate, then as rumoured, it does indeed feature a 20-megapixel sensor with a 5,184 x 3888 pixel resolution as well as High Res modes offering 80MP (10,368 x 7,776), 50MP (8,160 x 6,120) and 25MP (5,760 x 4,320) options. It doesn’t seem to offer the 4K DCI 120fps 12-Bit RAW video that was rumoured, but it will allow 120fps stills shooting for up to 92 frames.

Last month, Tamron announced the development of a new 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD zoom lens for Sony E-Mount. They claimed it to be the “world’s first mirrorless zoom lens with a maximum wide-open aperture of f/2”. Of course, it’s not and came with caveats, which seems to be the way with Sony stuff. Along with this lens, Tamron also announced the development of a 28-75mm f/2.8 zoom.

Both lenses are expected to be announced on October 28th, according to Nokishita. But that’s not all they said. They also posted all of the images and complete specs brochures for both lenses.

Sigma has always been a popular company for long zoom lenses from the original 50-500mm f/4-6.3 “Bigma” to the expensive and comically large 200-500mm f/2.8. But the new Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports series lens has been hotly anticipated in Sigma’s current transition from DSLR lenses to mirrorless lenses.

The “DN” designation on the new lens denotes that it’s been designed specifically for mirrorless cameras. Now, some of the specs for the new lens have leaked. And it appears that it will be compatible with the Sigma TC-1411 and TC-2011 teleconverters!

Price & release date for Panasonic 25-50mm f/1.7 leaked by Amazon ahead of announcement

Well, it looks like Panasonic might have also had an announcement originally planned for today, too – which was no doubt delayed for the same reason as Sony once somebody realised the significance of the date in Japan and China.

The reason it looks like this might have been the case is that Panasonic’s new 25-50mm f/1.7 lens popped up for pre-order on Amazon briefly today, complete with specs and a price, before an official announcement from Panasonic. And it seems to tally up with the recent leak.

Specs leak for upcoming Panasonic Leica 25-50mm f/1.7 – announcement maybe this week

Last week, the above image leaked of the upcoming Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 25-50mm f/1.7 ASPH Micro Four Thirds lens, first mentioned during the Panasonic GH6 development announcement. Now, Nokishita (who else?) has leaked some of the specs for the new lens, which is expected to “probably” be announced sometime this week.

Whether or not we’ll actually hear an official announcement this week remains to be seen, but it certainly is an attractive looking lens. If the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm f/1.7 ASPH price of around $1,800 is anything to go by, though, it definitely won’t be cheap!

It’s expected to be announced alongside the Olympus PEN E-P7 Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, for which images were also recently leaked. There’s no specs for the camera yet, although the complete specs for lens have been leaked, along with an expected price tag of $1,099.

Full specs leak for the Panasonic GH5 Mark II – Yes, that’s correct, not the GH6

Well, this is a surprise. And not really the good kind. While everybody’s been waiting for Panasonic to announce a GH6, which is apparently, definitely on the way, the specs leak for a new Panasonic Micro Four Thirds camera. It’s not the GH6, though. Oh no, apparently it’s the GH5 Mark II. And it’s not going to have the specs people were expecting for a hypothetical GH6, either.

The specs have been leaked via Nokishita and, well, really, it looks like a pretty tiny incremental update over 2017’s Panasonic GH5. The sensor’s still the same 20.33-megapixel resolution, the max video resolution is 4K 60p, it’s the same 3.68m-dot EVF, and well, same everything really.
