YouTuber Gaston Shutters has shared several videos of the Sony FX3 along with some of the specs. His source, he says, tells him that this is basically the exact same camera as the Sony A7S III but in a slightly different body. It’s supposedly lighter than the A7S III in order to help those who want to take advantage of filming from Sony’s new Airpeak drone platform.
We’re basically hours away from the announcement of the Fujifilm X-S10. However, a full press release, specs, and photos have already leaked. If you’re curious about what Fujifilm brings in the latest mirrorless camera, let’s check it out.
The Sony A7c is shaping up to be quite an interesting camera. This vlogger-and-creator oriented full-frame camera comes in a very small body that appears similar in size to Sony’s A6x00 series cameras. It doesn’t quite bump the Sigma fp it off its “world’s smallest full-frame mirrorless” pedestal, though.
A few photos of the new camera are out there, but now we also have some of the specs. For such a small camera, they seem quite impressive, too. And while it will likely be most popular with video content creators, it looks like it’ll be no slouch when it comes to stills, either.
Well, I think this quashes any idea that Panasonic was looking to compete with the Canon EOS RP, Nikon Z5 and whatever Sony has up their sleeve. Nokishita is reporting that the price for the upcoming Panasonic S5 will be $1,997.99 (or $2,297.99 for the S5 kit that includes a lens – although they haven’t stated which lens).
They’ve also leaked the press text for the announcement, which states that the Panasonic S5 has been “designed especially for content creators”. Let’s hope that means it has the flippy out LCD of Panasonic’s Micro Four Thirds cameras, and not the tilting LCD of the other full-frame L mount bodies.
A number of websites are now reporting that we can expect an announcement for Panasonic’s new entry-level full-frame S5 mirrorless camera as soon as next week. Not only that, but the complete specs for the Panasonic S5 have already leaked, courtesy of Nokishita and it looks pretty decent.
According to the leaked specs, the Panasonic S5 will house a 24.2-megapixel sensor, offer 14+ stops of dynamic range with Face, Eye, Body and Animal autofocus tracking, exposure and focus bracketing, and shoot full resolution raws at up to 7 frames per second. But where it really shines are its video capabilities – which are pretty awesome for an entry-level camera.
Looks like Tamron is cooking a new 70-300mm lens for Sony E-mount. Only days ahead of the official announcement, a photo and some specs have leaked for the new E-mount version of the Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD.
While Canon is preparing to officially announce the EOS R5 and EOS R6 mirrorless cameras in a couple of days, more information is leaking early, including a photo posted to Canon Watch that reveals more information about the EOS R5’s video modes. We’ve also received a tip here at DIYP from a trusted reliable source that reports some interesting details about both the EOS R5 and EOS R6.
If there’s one thing about Fuji shooters, they tend to get very excited whenever a new model is on the way. They like speculating about what features it may have, whether this’ll change or that’ll see an upgrade. There have been a lot of rumours about the upcoming Fujifilm X-T4, but now it looks like all of those rumours can be put to bed. Maybe.
Nokishita has leaked what they say the complete spec sheet for the Fujifilm X-T4, which covers everything from the sensor and other hardware to the software features and the new Eterna Bleach Bypass film simulation mode.
