A new image has leaked of Sony’s new 24mm f/1.4 GM lens. It’s expected to be officially announced at some point later today. Although this may be all that Sony announces today, so if you were hoping for the rumoured 135mm or high end “Mini A9” APS-C camera, you’ll probably be disappointed.
While Google is one of the biggest software tech giants out there, their adventures with hardware have only been going for a relatively short amount of time. Quickly, though, they’ve established themselves as a pretty serious player in the smartphone market. Although it seems they may want to become more serious about security, too.
9to5Google is reporting that a “large number of possibly stolen Pixel 3 XL” prototype phones have been put up for sale by an alleged Ukranian black market dealer. This has led to a series of leaks about the phone which, according to 9to5Google, the dealer says is basically the same as the final Pixel 3 XL will appear.
Ok, so, we should be judging cameras on how they see the world, not how they appear to the world, but this new Nikon mirrorless camera looks pretty ugly from looking at these leaked photos. I’ll reserve final judgement until I actually get one in my hands and see how it handles, but so far it’s kinda funny looking.
It seems like every lens manufacturer’s pushing hard on the Sony FE mount these days. Sigma have 9 of their lenses coming out in a native FE mount. Zeiss look set to announce a new Batis 40mm f/2.0 soon, and now Samyang. There’s not really anything known about the lens other than what we can see in the pictures. But we do have pictures, thanks to Nokishita.
There’s been a lot of buzz regarding the X-T100 lately, especially when Fujifilm EU accidentally leaked its full specs not long ago. Today, we finally get a glimpse of what the new camera might look like. Nokishita just leaked photos of the X-T100, and it seems to share a similar design with the X-T20. At least as far as outside appearance is concerned.
After releasing a few images of what is reported to be Canon’s next mirrorless offering, Nokishita have released a few more images of the EOS M50, along with a pretty extensive set of specs, too. Overall, it doesn’t look too bad. 10fps shooting, ISO 100-25600, 4K video, CC-Raw, and “Pupil detection AF” which sounds an awful lot like eye-tracking.
Nokishita seems to be on a roll lately. More leaks than a screen door on a submarine. This time it’s the impending Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD lens. But Nokishita aren’t the only people who’ve managed to get their hands on some. Canon Watch has also released a different set of leaked images.
Beyond the images, there’s not really any information other than the lens will be available for Nikon and Canon. There’s a switch to go between autofocus and manual focus, as well as a switch to turn Vibration Control on and off. Interestingly, there doesn’t seem to be a focus limiter switch, commonly found on lenses with such range to prevent hunting at short distances.
Last month there was the invitation to the secret dealer meeting about some new Canon mirrorless camera. Then we discovered that this might be the EOS M50, capable of shooting 4K UHD video. Now, thanks to Nokishita we’re seeing what are reported to be leaked images of the new camera, and 470 EX AI flash unit, along with some specs.
Panasonic are expected to announce their new G9 mirrorless camera on Wednesday morning. Also expected is a new 200mm f/2.8 MFT lens announcement. It seems that, as usual, some folks can’t wait to share the promo images, though. A few images have leaked through both 43Rumors and serial leakers, Nokishita.
