First photos leak of Sigma’s 28-70mm f/2.8 mirrorless lens

Sony isn’t the only one suffering from leaks today, as Nokishita has also leaked Sigma’s upcoming 28-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens for mirrorless cameras. Just one week ago, it was rumoured that Sigma was expected to announce the new lens for Sony FE at the upcoming CP+ show in Japan. But L-Rumors is reporting that the lens is expected for L mount, too.

It’s not really all that much of a surprise that it’d be coming for L mount, as well as E mount, given that the L mount is now Sigma’s mount of choice since joining the alliance with Panasonic and Leica and dumping their previous SA mount. An official announcement is expected in the next few days with a price of around $900.

A whole bunch of new Sony FX3 images have leaked ahead of official announcement

A slew of new Sony FX3 images has been leaked by Nokishita ahead of the official Sony announcement expected tomorrow. There isn’t much in the way of specs, except for reports that it’s basically a Sony A7S III in a slightly different body, but we do now know its dimensions, 4K frame rate and weight, as well as what it looks like all over.

Images of Fuji’s new GF80mm, XF27mm and XF70-300mm lenses leak ahead of official announcement

Fujifilm has announced that their upcoming Fujifilm X Summit is happening on January 27th at 1pm GMT. At the X Summit, Fuji is expected to announce their new 102-megapixel Fujifilm GFX100S camera, along with three new lenses; the GF80mm, XF70mm and XF70-300mm.

There hasn’t been a whole lot of info leaked about any of the upcoming announcements yet, and while I haven’t seen any real photos of the camera leaked, Nokishita has leaked images of the three impending lenses.

NiSi’s getting into the mirrorless lens market and the first photos have leaked

Two images have leaked of an upcoming lens that appears to be from filter-maker NiSi. One image shows the lens mounted to what looks like the Sony A7R III, while the other has it sitting on a Fujifilm body of some kind, possibly the Fuji X-E3.

Not much is shown about the new lens, except that it’s made by NiSi, has a maximum aperture of f/4, with a distance scale behind the focusing ring. It also appears to be a fixed focal length lens, as there are only two dials for the aperture & focus. No zoom.

The first photo of the hotly anticipated Laowa Argus 35mm f/0.95 lens has leaked

It was rumoured way back in January, and expected “soon”, but now it looks like it might finally be on the way very soon. The first photo has leaked of what is expected to be Venus Optics’ new Laowa FF II Argus 35mm f/0.95 lens for both DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. This means we can likely expect it to come in both Nikon F & Z as well as Canon EF & RF mounts. Chances are we’ll see Sony E and Leica L, too.

As to which mounts will come first, though, is anybody’s guess.

First photos leak of Sigma’s upcoming 24mm, 35mm and 65mm DG DN lenses for E and L mounts

According to a Twitter post from Nokishita, Sigma is getting ready to announce three new lenses. They’re DG DN lenses, designed specifically for Sony E and Leica L mirrorless mount cameras. The news comes by way of leaked product photos of each of the three lenses, but other than that, there’s not much info to go on just yet.

The three lenses are the 24mm f/3.5 DG DN, 35mm f/2 DG DN, and 65mm f/2 DG DN – as we can see from the text emblazoned on photos of the three lenses. We can also see that they have filter diameters of 55mm, 58mm and 62mm respectively, have manual aperture rings and lens hoods. That’s pretty much it, really. An official announcement is expected on December 1st.

Leaked photos of Panasonic S 85mm f/1.8 L mount lens – reported to cost $599

It looks like Panasonic’s plan for the 85mm f/1.8 is to indeed make a reasonably priced prime lens aimed at attracting lower budget users into the L mount ecosystem. At least, it is if the price tag being reported by Nokishita turns out to be true. They say it’s expected to be the same price as Panasonic’s 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 L mount lens, which sits at around $599.

They’ve also leaked some photos of the new lens, which shows a compact and clean looking design. There’s just a single switch on the side to flick between Autofocus and Manual Focus with a wide-banded ring for when you want to switch to the latter.

Photos leak of Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Art series macro lens for Sony E mount ahead of announcement

A couple of photos of Sigma’s upcoming 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Art series macro lens for Sony E and Leica L mounts. Pictures of the L mount version leaked a week or so ago, but now Nokishita has leaked some new slightly higher quality product images showing it mounted to an actual Sony body. The lens is expected to be officially announced by Sigma later today, but the specs have also already been leaked.
