There are so many things that we can do at home while in isolation. But there are also many that we can’t, and skiing is certainly one of them. Or is it? Photographer and filmmaker Philipp Klein Herrero found a way to ski in his living room. Well, sort of. In his humorous and entertaining stop motion video, Philipp goes freeride skiing without even leaving home.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the photography community is equally affected due to pandemic quarantining and social distancing. Every day, things are getting worse from assignments being called off to major photography events getting postponed. We all are vulnerable right now — but we can use this gloomy time to be more creative and productive by following the things we always wanted to do — sharing here my to-do list for the coming few days/weeks/months/years.
The coronavirus outbreak has changed life for all of us in many ways. Numerous countries are in lockdown, with hundreds of thousands of people in quarantine and self-isolation. Here in Serbia, a state of emergency was declared yesterday.
Many of you will be spending way more time at home over the upcoming few weeks. I will too, and I know that it’s not easy. So I have started to come up with fun, creative and useful stuff we can do to make the best out of this gloomy situation. I will share my ideas with you, and they will help us to stay creative and expand our knowledge and skills. And ultimately, to survive self-isolation or quarantine.
