Hacking Photography - one Picture at a time
Some people would pretty stupid things to get a shot, and this guy is definitely one of the examples. The visitor of Banff National Park in Canada wanted to take a close-up photo of a grizzly bear, and he decided to “zoom with his feet.”
He approached the animal and took photos only from a few meters away. At a safe distance, photographer Ray Blanchard watched in disbelief and captured the reckless man through a telephoto lens.
Photographer Olga Barantseva recently created a series of photographs with two beautiful models. But this is where the story stops being normal.
The companion for this photoshoot was a 650kg brown grizzly bear named Stephen.
You need some balls to pose next to such a dangerous animal, even if it is 100% tamed. A friendly “high five” from one of those paws will leave you massively bleeding.
I’m still trying to decide if this would be a dream come true or a hair raising experience (or both?), but one thing is for certain it’s definitely a once in a lifetime moment.
