Hands-on with Sony RX0: can it be the GoPro killer?
The new Sony RX0 action camera was announced earlier this year. 4K HDMI output, 1080p at up to 1,000fps, wireless timecode sync for multiple cameras, and a 1″ sensor made it a serious competition to GoPro. Kai Wong got his hands on one of these, and in his latest video, he compares it to the GoPro Hero 6. On paper, Sony RX0 sure looks promising. But can it beat GoPro in real life conditions?
GoPro Hero 6 vs GoPro Hero 5, is it worth the upgrade?
The GoPro Hero 6 is here. It’s new, it’s shiny, and it’s $100 more expensive than the old one. But is it worth the upgrade? The GoPro Hero 5 was something of a disappointment for many. Sure, it had built in waterproofing and touchscreen. But beyond those, it did really seem to offer all that much over the GoPro Hero 4 Black.
So how does the GoPro Hero 6 compare? This video, from the folks over at Vistek, puts the new Hero 6 head-to-head with its predecessor, the GoPro Hero 5 to see if it’s really worth upgrading.
Here is the first Gopo Hero6 review
With the release of the new HERO6 Black, GoPro continues to advance and refine what we can expect out of an action camera. Released just one year after the HERO5 Black, the HERO6 Black has all the right upgrades in all the right places.
First, let’s look at what hasn’t changed. The HERO6 retains the same small design with rounded corners as last year’s model, along with the 2 button layout and the 2″ touch screen on back. It also has the same 12MP resolution as the HERO5. It is still waterproof down to 10 meters without the need for a separate housing. It even continues to use the same 1200mAh battery as the HERO5. In fact, the only way to tell the difference between the two cameras is by the vertical “HERO6” on the lens side of the camera.
GoPro Hero 6 officially launched: 4K 60fps video, advanced stabilization and improved image quality
GoPro Hero 6 is officially here. The company has launched the new action camera, which looks a lot like its predecessor, GoPro Hero 5. However, it’s the inside that changed, and the new model brings some improvements. The processor is new, and the features like frame rates, image stabilization and image quality are improved in comparison to the Hero 5.
GoPro Hero6 photo leaked, shows it will shoot 4K at 60fps
There’s been a word that GoPro Hero6 could be launched by the end of this year. We didn’t know many details then, but the latest leaked photo of the camera and the box tells us more.
Apparently, the upcoming GoPro Hero6 will shoot video at 4K at 60fps (like the new iPhone). For comparison, the Hero5 shoots at 4K 30fps.
