The Panasonic GH5S with its dual native ISO became an immediate favourite amongst many filmmakers. Already having the reputation of the Panasonic GH5 upon which to build, the GH5S offered some great advantages for filmmakers over its older sibling. Sure, it lost in-body image stabilisation, but one of the big features was the dual native ISO.
Griffin Hammond has had the chance to test the new Panasonic Lumix S1 to task against both the GH5S and the GH5 to see how they all stand up. And in this high ISO test, the full frame S1 shows a massive improvement over the two Micro Four Thirds bodies.
