Dropping and smashing your phone is a bummer, but how terrible it is when it happens without you even touching it? It sounds impossible, but this is what Google Pixel 7 users have been reporting recently.

According to multiple phone owners, the camera glass on Pixel has been shattering spontaneously, without dropping the phone or even touching it. To make things worse, some users weren’t able to get the phone replaced under warranty because Google cited this as “physical damage.”
