As a heroic fantasy photographer, shooting with dragons is one of my dreams. Not fake Photoshopped dragons but real dragons. But everybody knows that they are dead for a very long time. A long time, that is, until Deanerys and Games of Thrones came along.
Let’s go back to few months ago. I was working In Paris. One morning, I saw an advertisement about Dragonland, an exhibition with life size dragons. “Wow, that must be really great”. And I created the equation in my mind : Dragons + Daenerys = Cosplay shoot.
The season 7 of Game of Thrones is out, and many of us are hyped about it. There are different theories, stories and of course – memes everywhere. But a group of photographers and designers from Depositphotos made something creative to pay a tribute to the popular TV series. They used only stock photos from the website’s library to create alternative posters for Game of Thrones. Not only they look fantastic, but they could easily be used as the official posters.
Game of Throwns may be the best TV series when it comes to addiction potential. sadly, they only come out once a week, and even that, only during the season. This is where fan fiction comes in.
