We’ve featured plenty of stunning photo recreations so far. But this time, I’ve stumbled upon one such project that will make your day better. It’s about a cute toddler recreating model photos of his uncle. It all started as a family jok and turned into a project that’s cute and hilarious at the same time.
While you can use a drone to take shots and videos (either from the sky or from the ground), there are some alternative uses for it as well. Lauri and Anni Vuohensilta, the couple you may know from the Hydraulic Press Channel, used their DJI Phantom Pro 4 to dry the laundry.
On their other channel Beyond the Press, they published a video demonstrating how the airflow from the hovering DJI Phantom Pro 4 dries the laundry. In the end, they even tape wet boxers to the drone – but it turns out not to be the best idea.
Smartphone cameras are advancing and taking wonderful photos, but of course – they aren’t perfect and make mistakes. One such mistake occurred when Mitchell Flann and Erika Gomos were taking a selfie, and its result made me laugh for fifteen minutes.
The couple was trying to take a panorama selfie with Samsung Galaxy S7, for which you need to stand still for a while. But Erika sneezed and ended up with two heads in the photo. The couple laughed really hard to this, and decided to share the photo with the rest of us and make our day.
From time to time, camera manufacturers issue special edition models of their gear. But this Nikon D500 “Rex Edition” is the most unique so far. A German Shepherd named Rex munched on this camera, which was bought only a day before. As a result, there’s one pretty unusual model of Nikon, to say the least. And what’s even more unusual – the camera is still working.
Have you ever imagined famous movies and TV series in an alternative surrounding? A witty Russian artist known as 2D Among Us has. He has created a series of photos with characters from our favorite movies and series placed in the Eastern European setting.
2D Among Us describes this project with a question: What would it be if our fantasies were all real? So, this is what it would look like if characters from Game of Thrones, Deadpool, Home Alone, Harry Potter and many others lived in Eastern Europe.
Books are awesome, and so is photography – and an indie bookstore from France found an awesome way to bring these two together. Librairie Mollat‘s staff express their creativity in a fun way and take photos of their customers paired with book covers. This technique is known from before, but the photos on Mollat’s Instagram page are among the best book-face matches I’ve seen so far. They are funny and cool, and sometimes the lines and even the tones match so well that it’s just great.
When you fly by airplane, bringing the camera with you is a must. How else would you capture magnificent aerial scenes on such height? But would you ever say you could lose a camera through an airplane window? I thought it was impossible, but then I saw this video. It’s only a bit heartbreaking, but most of all – it’s pretty hilarious.

Adobe’s Content Aware Fill tool is one of the most incredible pieces of editing technology to come around in a long time. Sure, it’s nothing more than an automated clone and stamp tool, but with each update it seems to get more and more intelligent, making removal of unwanted objects more simple than ever.
To demonstrate, YouTube user wopkins has created a helpful tutorial showing how the Content Aware Fill tool can be used to help finish your homework, make a sandwich and even clean your room![Read More…]
