This dizzying timelapse was shot by a drone flying in huge circles
by 1 CommentDrone timelapse has started to become quite a popular thing lately. But it’s only very recently that people seem to be really experimenting with it. The short film, Low Earth Orbit, from Hong Kong based Visual Suspect really kicks things up a few notches.
It was shot over Folegrandos Island in Greece, using a mix of manual and automatic flight modes. They call the technique “orbital drone-lapses”. They’re a great way to really show off the landscape and give a good sense of scale while still allowing you to focus on a point. A very cool result.
