Canon has announced its new PowerShot V10 Vlog camera. Designed for vloggers and content creators, the PowerShot V10 takes a big break from the traditional camera designs we’ve come to expect from Canon over the last couple of decades. It’s not an interchangeable lens mirrorless camera, but it also looks nothing like any point-and-shoot Canon’s ever released, either.
The usual small vlogging camera from Canon is the PowerShot G7X Mark III (buy here), although the new PowerShot V10 represents a significant price saving. It drops that $700-750 cost down to $429, lowering the barrier to entry for those wishing to get into vlogging. Inside, it has a 1-inch type sensor and a 6.6mm f/2.8 lens offering the full-frame equivalent field of view to a 19mm lens.
