Canon has announced the EOS M6 Mark II, a new member of the mirrorless M family. A leaked promo video has recently revealed some of the major specs, but the camera is now officially out, and it brings some improvements over its older version, the M6.

Report: Canon EOS M5 MK II will be announced before Photokina 2018

It seems like Canon is about to focus more on mirrorless cameras over the following year. Before we get to see the two new mirrorless cameras, the company might launch another iteration of the EOS M5. According to the rumors, the EOS M5 Mark II will feature some improvements over the previous model, such as 4K video.

Fortunately, there are often cheaper solutions that maybe won’t get you a Hollywood-level image quality, but they’re good enough to turn your ideas into an engaging movie. Caleb Pike from DSLR Video Shooter often introduces us to these affordable solutions, and in this video, he has assembled an entire video kit for under $300. It doesn’t include only a camera and a lens, but even adapters, a filter, a cage and much more.

Canon’s new 28mm macro lens for mirrorless features a built in ringlight

Macro ring flashes can be expensive, but trying to shoot macro without external lighting of some kind can be extremely difficult.  Canon are hoping to do something about this with a new EF-M f/3.5 28mm STM macro lens for Canon Mirrorless cameras, if these leaked photos are true.

Bearing a plastic mount, it seems that this lens is aimed at the entry level, those hoping to make a start on their macro journey, and is expected to have a lower price as a result when it is officially announced.
