No, it’s not a joke. After a bunch of hints and tests, Instagram is now finally ready to let its users post content from desktop. You won’t need a mobile app to share photos or short videos any longer – you can just do it straight from your web browser.

Last month, we got a hint that Instagram might let us post photos from desktops. And now it’s happening: Instagram has started testing the new feature. Some users can already post photos from a desktop browser, and it’s possible that all of us will be able to do it in a while. Finally!

Ever since I opened an Instagram account, I wished to be able to upload photos from my browser. If you’ve had the same wish – well, it may soon be granted! Instagram seems to be testing the ability to create posts from a browser.

Opera browser now comes with built-in Instagram

Instagram recently made it possible to send messages and watch live streams through a browser. And Opera wants to make it even more accessible. This browser now comes with a built-in Instagram icon in the sidebar to make it faster and simpler to access the app. There are several browsers out there and I guess each of them wants to draw more users by offering certain features. It seems that this is Opera’s attempt to do so.
