New York-based photographer Robert Barbera is suing pop star Ariana Grande for posting one of his photos to her Instagram without permission. Sounds familiar? It’s because the singer has already been sued for posting a photo of herself without licensing it, and she was sued by the same photographer.

After Gigi Hadid and Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande is being sued for posting photos of herself to Instagram without the photographer’s permission. She shared two paparazzi photos with her followers, and now she is facing a lawsuit to at least $25,000 for each.

Ariana Grande’s latest tour is a major copyright grab; photographers protest

The agreement required to cover Ariana Grande’s Sweetener tour has made photographers mad. The agreement requires them to transfer their copyright of the concert images to Grande’s tour company. And if photographers wish to use their own photos, they need to ask for written permission from the performer in advance. Because of this and several other terms, The National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), along with 15 other press groups, is protesting against the agreement.

Trust Issues: The 4Chan Photo Leak, and What We Need to Learn From It

Louis CK did a bit on Jimmy Kimmel Live, once, where he spoke about Cloud services, and just how absurd it sounds to pay someone you don’t know to look after your personal pictures.

That video’s been getting reposted pretty frequently since what happened over the weekend, and it’s no wonder why. For those who don’t know by now, last Saturday the private pictures of over 10 different celebrities were leaked onto the internet by an anonymous user on 4Chan. According to the running stories, the pictures may have all came from iCloud, and someone found a way to hack into the servers. Literally hours after appearing on 4Chan, those pictures were on the front page of Reddit; twenty-four hours later, the FBI released a statement declaring that the leaker will be brought to justice.
