Aputure has today announced the new Aputure MC Pro (buy here). It’s 4x brighter than the standard Aputure MC. It also swaps out the silicone dome diffuser for a magnetic accessory mount. The MC Pro has an IP65 rating for use in extreme weather, with LumenRadio CRMX wireless control.
Along with the massively increased brightness, though, the Aputure MC Pro also offers wider colour control over the original. Rather than the standard 3,200-6,500K of the original MC, the MC Pro offers 2,000-10,000K thanks to its higher-end RGBWW LED chipset. As well as being able to buy individually, the MC Pro is also available in a new 8-light kit.
