You may know Antti Karppinen for his amazing conceptual photos and photo manipulations. He’s been merging illusion with reality in his work for a while now, and now he’s added an interesting twist to it: artificial intelligence.

Thanks to tools like DALL-E and Midjourney, you can create an image from pretty much anything you can spell. Antti was curious whether it will be possible with his work. Since it’s dreamy and surreal, Midjourney seemed like a logical choice – and it did a remarkably good job!

For a digital artist like me getting those unique ideas for my images is one of the most important things. I see the ideas in my dreams, when I read a magazine, when I’m out for a walk, or pretty much anywhere. I have learned that ideas are everywhere if you just allow yourself to see them. When I get the idea I see it in my head as a “flash”. I see pretty much every detail but I need to sketch out that idea fast to my notebook so I won’t forget it.

I consider traveling for my work both as a curse and a blessing; damned be the hours spent away from my family and cozy little home but such a blessing to see the world and meet so many friends, new and old, during my travels. Often my trips have been a source of inspiration for my work, bringing to me visual images, techniques and traditions of a different world.

When Fuji announced the then-new X-T2 back in July 2016, it got Fuji shooters very excited, especially the ones interested in video. Fuji now has a 4K video-capable camera in their lineup. They’ve since gone on to add 4K to the X-Pro2 and released the new X-H1, but they haven’t given up on the X-T2 just yet.

Only a month after release, would-be X-T2 owners were complaining that they could only shoot 4K F-Log if they were using an external recorder and not internally. Fujifilm said at the time that they would consider internal F-Log recording. And now they’ve delivered with a new firmware update that adds internal 4K F-Log recording to SD, as well as 120fps 1080p slow motion.

It is not rare that a fictional character gets a dedicated fan photo shoot. Deadpool, Batman and Assassin’s Creed are some of the hardcore characters we’ve featured before, and brave was on the softer side.

With Wonder Woman being such a hit, it’s no wonder that this character is getting some action. We’ve already featured a $1,500 shoot of a young daughter, and now comes the adult version.  Digital artist Antti Karppinen put quite a realistic shoot with Mae-rye cosplay and it is stellar and very much true to the movie. Hit the jump to see what some killer cos-playing and photoshop wizardry can bring to life. (+plus you get to see some before and after photos).
