If you ask me, animals who steal cameras are always fun to watch. We’ve seen some hilarious encounters of mammals and birds with GoPros, and the funny video we’re about to share with you today took place in the sea. It shows a curious little octopus persistently trying to steal a diver’s GoPro. And it looks like the animal liked it a lot!
We love optical illusions, no matter if they were made with forced perspective, colors, or makeup. Indian wildlife photographer Sarosh Lodhi made one by snapping a photo at exactly the right time. He photographed two zebras, and people can’t seem to agree which one is looking at the camera. Can you guess which one is it?
Wildlife spy cameras are getting so realistic that animals are even befriending them. PBS already showed us some of the awesome spy cameras they developed, but I think they’ve taken things to a whole new level with this robotic turtle. It doesn’t only swim the sea and crawl the sand while recording with a camera in its eye – it even lays tiny camera eggs!
PBS series Spy in the Wild 2 has shown us some interesting and hilarious clips so far. For this show, PBS has built a whole lot of different spy cameras, all of which show us the animal lives up close and personal. And this time, a spy camera disguised as a macaque caught the attention of a real baby macaque who wanted to be its friend. It’s heartwarming and funny at the same time.
When I see photos that radiate love and friendship, it always melts my heart, no matter if they show humans or animals. German photographer Tobias Baumgaertner captured a friendship of two penguins, hugging and consoling each other. His photo of this adorable duo standing flipper in flipper quickly went viral, and if it doesn’t make you go “aww,” I don’t know what will.
We love funny photos of animals. I mean, who doesn’t? If you have goofy pets and want to show their funny side to the world, now’s your chance. MARS Petcare Comedy Pet Photo Awards is back and it’s now open for entries. You can submit your images, but here are some of the hilarious entries submitted so far to inspire you. And of course, to make your day at least a bit better.
It was an early Tuesday morning, and I was sitting in a car with a friend of mine.
We were going over some papers for a project I had in mind.
While my friend had his eyes buried in the papers and text – mine started to wander outside.
Leaning on the wall outside was a pretty big security guard, who was staring into the distance.
Suddenly, out of nowhere a bunch of sparrows swarmed him, some landing on his head.
I hunched forward not really understanding what I was looking at.
He raised his head and opened his mouth slightly.
One of the sparrows carefully walked across his face and proceeded to eat something out of his
I’m sure that most of us agree that each dog has its own personality. If you ask me, I love it when photographers manage to capture those animal personalities in photos. German photographer Elke Vogelsang does it, but she brings out the funny side of her four-legged models. Her dog portraits are adorable, fun, and as goofy as it gets. If they don’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what will.
