Back in January, Adobe announced Productions – a new tool which allows Premiere Pro CC users to more easily collaborate in post-production and editing. They say that it improves the workflow for feature films, broadcast and web-based content while working in teams in various locations, but also when working on your own, too. Now, Productions and Team Projects are available for Premiere Pro and After Effects CC users, the latter of which is free until August 2020.
Apple has released a beta that adds ProRes RAW support to Adobe apps for Windows
ProRes RAW was lauded as a high-end raw video codec for high-end video shooters and editors. But it had one fatal flaw; You could only edit it with a Mac. Well, now that appears to be changing as Apple has released a beta of Apple ProRes RAW for Windows which adds ProRes RAW support to some of the applications in the Adobe CC suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Rush and Media Encoder.

The latest offer on the company’s website enables you to get a free subscription for two months, and it’s pretty simple to get it if you’d like to try.

Canon cameras can’t tether with Lightroom with the latest macOS update
If you are a Canon camera and Mac computer user and rely on tethered shooting – don’t update to the latest version of macOS Catalina just yet. MacOS Catalina 10.15.2 doesn’t seem to support tethered shooting in Lightroom and other apps, and there’s currently no workaround.
Adobe CC apps are available again in Venezuela
Earlier this month, Adobe deactivated all Venezuelan Creative Cloud accounts due to the US sanctions. Adobe data breach exposed almost 7.5 million Creative Cloud accounts to the public
Adobe was recently hit with a massive data breach, exposing nearly 7.5 million Creative Clouds accounts to the public. Reportedly, a database containing sensitive user info was easily accessible to anyone through a web browser.
Mac users, don’t upgrade to macOS Catalina if you’re using Photoshop or Lightroom
Earlier in the week, Apple released macOS Catalina. But if you’re using Photoshop or Lightroom CC on your Mac, you may want to put the upgrade on hold. Adobe gets a dose of piracy after blocking its apps in Venezuela
As a consequence of Executive Order 13884, Adobe has announced the deactivation of all accounts in Venezuela. Since there doesn’t seem to be another solution and there will be no refunds, revolted Venezuelans are now reportedly turning to piracy.
