photo-originalGoPro cameras are impressive in their own right, but they’re far from a complete video solution. Here to change that is SUPERcase, an all-in-one device from Austin-based startup Si-Jex that not only protects your GoPro camera but provides more storage, power and protection.

SUPERcase is currently getting funded on Kickstarter, where it’s amassed roughly 35% of its $30,000 goal. Besides acting as a standard case, with a rugged polycarbonate design and standard GoPro mounts, SUPERcase also has a few tricks up its sleeves to ensure you get the most out of your camera.

Additionally, Si-Jex has included dual lithium-ion battery packs totaling 5200 mAh of battery, which equates to roughly six more hours of recording 4K video at 30fps. Also included is a built-in filter thread that lets you attach any 58mm filters or lens caps to the front of the camera – a much-requested feature, especially for those who use their devices in bright environments.2f80466c5b64e316bcb2561463d13aa3_originalSi-Jex notes that you can obtain all of these features without the SUPERcase, but everything would come separately, and the setup wouldn’t look nearly as refined or be easy to handle.

Starting with a pledge of $110, you can get a ‘barebones’ SUPERcase, which lacks the internal storage, but still offers all of the other features. If you want storage, the 128, 256 and 512GB models will set you back $230, $300 and $455, respectfully. Further pledge options include multiple cases and combination offers.

For more information and to secure your pledge, head on over to Kickstarter and take a look at the SUPERcase. There are 24 days left in the campaign, so no need to make a quick decision, although you might miss out on the early bird specials.
