It’s official. Instagram has opened up multiple account support for almost everyone.
After months of rumors, both for Android and iOS, support for two or more accounts is here, reigning in a feature users have been asking for since Instagram made its debut in 2010.
Anyone who has the latest version of the app, either on Android or iOS, should have the feature built into the application.
In a new help page, Instagram explains how to add multiple accounts, how to switch between the two and how to remove accounts. In the announcement blog post, they summed up the process:
Go to your profile settings to add an additional account. From there, tap your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts. Once you have multiple accounts added, you’ll see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app so you can always tell which one you’re using at the moment.
If you prefer visuals instead, journalist Jörgen Camrath has shared a short video on Twitter showing how switching between multiple accounts works.

Instagram says anyone with version 7.15 for iOS and Android should have the feature ready to rock and roll.
