Need a little boost for your next photo shoot? In this video, Rachel and Daniel of Mango Street and their model Nakeela bring you nine unique posing ideas. The video lasts only 90 seconds, so it’s perfect if you need a quick boost of ideas for shooting some interesting portraits.

In the video, Rachel and Daniel shoot indoors using natural light. They place their model on a retro TV console, a ladder and a chair. But of course, you can work with the furniture and props you like and that fits the concept of your shoot.

I like short and sweet videos like this, because they give a quick boost of ideas for posing models. As someone who still feels a bit awkward when photographing people, I find it useful to see some posing ideas that can jumpstart my creativity.

Make sure to watch Rachel and Daniel’s video, and check out these posing ideas for couple shots, wedding and engagement, as well as some warm-up poses for any portrait session.
