Beautiful Cape Town Aerial Drone Video Shows Fur Seal Scaring Sharks

With the introduction of cheap(ish) aerial photography options and the influx of quad-copters there are more and more videos out there that were impossible to take just a few years ago. Actually, they were possible if you were the National Geographic and had a budget of a small city.

This Phantom 2 capture footage by Eric Cheng is an incredible example of that.

Eric took his Phantom 2 (+Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal + GoPro HERO 3+ Black) out to Cape Town, South Africa and captured some gorgeous scenes of the location. Most notably is the capture of a shark aggregation at Cape Point (1:20) followed by a Fur seal that makes them all go away (1:36). I thought that with so many shark around they would go at the little guy, but he totally owned it.

P.S. bonus great white sharks at 2:55
