When it comes to creativity with water, Jack Long is one of the most out of the box photographers I know. (Jack is also the master mind behind this water curtain tutorial)
In his latest series he creates Vases with flowers, leafs and all using painted water splashes.
As usual Jack does not tell how the shots were taken but he does tell
us that, images are not composed in Photoshop and are that each image
is taken in a single exposure.
“I created the liquid Vase in the autumn of 2011. I worked on
creating the floral forms and leaves through the winter and put it all
together Spring 2012. All of my images, unless otherwise noted are single capture events. I do not use photoshop to create composited images. What you see is what occurred in that single exposure.” #
If you are keen to trying and figure out how they were taken, you can check the entire Vessels and Blooms set, it goes from Jack early experiments to his latest super detailed creations.
If you can’t tell how it’s made, just sit back and enjoy the show.
