In an effort to show off how Nikkor lenses come to fruition, from concept to being placed in the hands of photographers around the globe, Nikon started a four-part video campaign called Philosophy of Nikkor.

Now, the fourth and final installment of the project is complete, consisting of two new videos that show exactly what it takes to ensure each and every lens that leaves the factory is up to Nikon’s standards.

As with the other videos in the series, the visuals are great and the behind-the-scenes look is a unique one we don’t often get a thorough look at. The music might be a little cheesy, but the insight provided by the ‘middlemen’ is well worth watching, if for no other reason, than to better understand what goes into every piece of glass that leaves Nikkor’s factories.

Below are the videos, split into part one and part two.
