Don't you just love flashy web galleries? I do.
This is why I am excited to welcome Wix as a new DIYP sponsor.
Wix provide an easy to use web gallery and portfolio solution. The thing that makes Wix special, though, is the fact that they provide a flash based gallery.

Would be Nice to have a standalone Code
Interesting Software that I can see being very handy if I subsrcibed to one of the "Quick Load" options (such as iGoogle or MySpace). However as I have my own photography website I am unable to effectively use this to host on my own (unless I'm missing a step - I don't see that option).

Hosting, integrating and Wixing

I'm Sheer from the Wix team. I wanted to thank you guys for the coverage and the feedback.
As for the issues that were mentioned here in the comments, Wix sites/banners/slides and layouts can be easily integrated into existing sites. When publishing a Wix document, the user receives a code that can be placed within an existing platform (you can even customize your codes for specific platforms such as MySpace, Blogger, Facebook, TypePad and much more).
While Wix sites are currently hosted only on Wix servers, they can be connected to a personal domain name. So if you already have your own URL but would like to use Wix, you can design your website with us and then connect it to your personal domain by upgrading it. We will still host the site's content, but the registrar company still hosts the domain name.

This is what I have been looking for
Hey I wanted to thank you for letting me know about this site. I am a photographer just starting to get her feet wet in professional photography. I really wanted a cool flash site, like all the other pros have, but I did not have the money to find someone with the know-how. Thanks!
