The wind is a slider, that does not actually look like a slider, it looks more like an articulated robotic arm. The smooth sliding motion is not achieved via moving on rails like traditional slider, but rather via a set of gears that keep the “palm” of the robot leveled while the joint moves up and down. Adobe just released the much anticipated Lightroom mobile App. If you are an on the go creative, this is probably one of the things you wanted to see most coming out of adobe and finally a solid reason to move into the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Blackmagic Announces the URSA: A Digital Film Camera Starting at $6K

They’re calling it the world’s first user-upgradable 4K digital film camera: Blackmagic’s URSA has been announced and it may take you by quite a bit of surprise. I want to get something out of the way first: These are meant for high-end feature films and documentaries, and the two URSA models announced today are going to be shipping in July at prices of $6,000 and $6,500.

At their NAB Show today, Sony made certain that ’4K’ would be their hot word for audiences to catch on to. It’s what came up on the screen as the live stream even began, and continued to be spoken about for its presence in medicine, business, filmmaking, and consumer use.
