One Week In Two Weeks Left
Just a quick reminder to everyone that DIYP "At My Home" Photo Contest is running on the Flickr group.
In the first week of the contest, you have made 24 great submissions and the number of topics and techniques is almost as vast as the number of pictures submitted. You can view a slideshow of the images submitted here.
If you plan to make a submission and still don't have a Flickr account you can get it here, and join the DIYP group here. I have noticed that new Flickr members takes a while to get update in the system and getting a flickr account now (even if submitting in two weeks) will verify that your entry is there for the final cut. Yep, it is the final cut in two week from today.

Eligibility?
I was just wondering if this contest is for strictly amateurs and hobbyists, or for all levels of photographers? I am far from what anyone would call a professional, but I do have my own home studio. Thanks!

Hi,
The contest is open to all and any photographer that has a say about his home. Pros amateurs and hobbyists alike. Actually for a lot of the pictures submitted you can't really tell if they are pro or a darn fine amateur.

Confused on how to add
Hi,
I have a "silly" question - I have followed the instructions: opened new flickr account, upload an image, enroll and submit image to DIYPhotography pool, added atmyhome and DIYP tag, but my image still does not appear in this competiton or at least in the slideshow.
Do you mind to check and let me know? I'm newbie in Flickr. Here's direct link to my image:

weird, I can see your photo in the pool and it apears in the slide show so:
A - rest assure, you have entered the contest.
B - I will add this to the Q&A so others will have a way to know if their picture is viewable in the contest pool

Hi Udi,
Thanks for checking on this. Somehow I'm still not seeing my image in the competition pool - actually, I can see my image in the pool if I'm logged in my flickr account - but when I log off, my image somehow not included. not sure if this is a bug from flickr.
Anyway, if you have validated and can see it then it's ok - just wanted to make sure.
