How To Make A Concrete Pinhole Camera
New Zealand based Instructable user amuu just changed that making a - not only functional - but amazingly stylish concrete pinhole camera (And a full set of instructions to go with that) - those are the highlights of the build, for the full tutorial visit the instructable page.
She started out by planning a simple, squarish, pinhole design build of a box with two walls to hold the film spools.
Then created a foamboard inverse of the design. The Concrete will fill the gaps in the mold, leaving the foamboard parts free.
The mold was than filled with cement and left to dry
resulting with a brick-ish camera.
The inside was painted black, a shutter made from a piece of wood on a hinge, and a roll of film inserted.
Here is how the shutter works
There are no results yet, but Amuu promised to upload them as soon as they are available. If you like the design go tell her on the page, and consider voting for her in the Instructables concrete contest.
